On December 21, 2025, the NHL will bring the NHL STREET Championships presented by GEICO to Amerant Bank Arena, home of the Stanley Cup Champion Florida Panthers. This one-day, festival-style celebration of street hockey will feature nine outdoor ball-hockey rinks, welcoming players of all ages and skill levels for fast-paced 3-on-3 games, fan programming, giveaways, and partner activations. Teams from across the country are invited to compete, connect, and enjoy a full day of hockey in its most accessible form - on sneakers, on asphalt, and rooted in fun.

A major highlight of the event will be the NHL’s attempt to set an official GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® for the largest one-day street hockey championship ever held, putting a global spotlight on the growth of the game and the passion of the South Florida hockey community. In keeping with the League’s commitment to social impact, all registration fees will benefit Hockey Fights Cancer, supporting families and communities affected by cancer and reinforcing the program’s longstanding legacy within the sport. The NHL STREET Championships presented by GEICO also serve as a centerpiece of the broader Sunshine State programming leading up to the 2026 Discover NHL Winter Classic and 2026 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series.
