With the continued growth of the tournament, we are expanding our youth structure to better serve players at different stages of development, including those currently playing, or projected to play, at the AA or AAA level during the 2026–27 season. We also recognize that many parents of heritage players competing at the AA and AAA levels value the opportunity for their children to represent their country by wearing their national jersey—an experience that closely aligns with the spirit and mission of this tournament.

The Youth Division will feature two parallel programs across the U12, U14, U16, and U18 age groups. The Youth Legacy Division will be comprised of Single-A level players and players traveling from outside of North America. The Youth Select Division will be open to players competing at the AA and AAA levels within North America, as well as teams from outside of North America that believe this level of competition is the best fit for their players.

Both programs are designed to provide meaningful, age-appropriate competitive experiences while preserving the opportunity for players to represent their heritage on an international stage.

As part of the registration process, all youth players competing in North America will be required to provide written confirmation from the organization the player competed with during the 2025–26 season, verifying the team and level of play, as well as written confirmation from the organization the player will compete with during the 2026–27 season. For clarity, confirmation cannot be provided by the team or organization participating in the Amerigol Latam Cup.

Player placement within the Youth Legacy Division or Youth Select Division will be determined based on the highest level of play confirmed across the 2025–26 and 2026–27 seasons. For example, a player who competed at the Single-A level during the 2025–26 season and is rostered on an AA team for the 2026–27 season will be placed in the Youth Select Program.

Both confirmations are required; however, documentation is not due at the time of registration. All required documentation must be submitted by the final roster deadline, which is expected to be at the end of June 2026. This timeline allows ample time following the conclusion of tryouts for families to receive team placements and gather the necessary information.

To ensure fairness and consistency for all participants, these requirements will be applied uniformly to all teams and players, and no exceptions will be made. Families are encouraged to plan accordingly and reach out with any questions well in advance of roster deadlines. These guidelines are intended to ensure balanced competition and a positive, enjoyable experience for players, families, and teams alike.

Con el continuo crecimiento del torneo, estamos ampliando nuestra estructura juvenil para brindar un mejor servicio a los jugadores en diferentes etapas de desarrollo, incluyendo a aquellos que actualmente juegan, o se prevé que jueguen, en el nivel AA o AAA durante la temporada 2026-27. También reconocemos que muchos padres de jugadores con raíces latinas que compiten en los niveles AA y AAA valoran la oportunidad de que sus hijos representen a su país vistiendo la camiseta nacional, una experiencia que se alinea estrechamente con el espíritu y la misión de este torneo.

La División Juvenil contará con dos programas paralelos en las categorías U12, U14, U16 y U18. La División Juvenil Legacy estará compuesta por jugadores de nivel Single-A y jugadores provenientes de fuera de Norteamérica. La División Juvenil Select estará abierta a jugadores que compiten en los niveles AA y AAA dentro de Norteamérica, así como a equipos de fuera de Norteamérica que consideren que este nivel de competencia es el más adecuado para sus jugadores.

Ambos programas están diseñados para brindar experiencias competitivas significativas y apropiadas para la edad, preservando al mismo tiempo la oportunidad para que los jugadores representen sus raíces en un escenario internacional.

Como parte del proceso de inscripción, todos los jugadores juveniles que compiten en Norteamérica deberán proporcionar una confirmación por escrito de la organización con la que compitieron durante la temporada 2025-26, verificando el equipo y el nivel de juego, así como una confirmación por escrito de la organización con la que competirán durante la temporada 2026-27. Para mayor claridad, la confirmación no puede ser proporcionada por el equipo u organización que participa en la Amerigol Latam Cup.

La asignación de jugadores a la División Juvenil Legacy o a la División Juvenil Select se determinará en función del nivel de juego más alto confirmado durante las temporadas 2025-26 y 2026-27. Por ejemplo, un jugador que compitió en el nivel Single-A durante la temporada 2025-26 y está inscrito en un equipo AA para la temporada 2026-27 será asignado al Programa Juvenil Select.

Ambas confirmaciones son obligatorias; sin embargo, la documentación no es necesaria al momento de la inscripción. Toda la documentación requerida debe presentarse antes de la fecha límite para la conformación de las plantillas, que se prevé para finales de junio de 2026. Este plazo permite que, tras la finalización de las pruebas de selección, las familias dispongan de tiempo suficiente para conocer la asignación de equipos y recopilar la información necesaria.

Para garantizar la equidad y la uniformidad para todos los participantes, estos requisitos se aplicarán por igual a todos los equipos y jugadores, sin excepción. Se recomienda a las familias que planifiquen con anticipación y que se comuniquen con cualquier duda mucho antes de la fecha límite. Estas directrices tienen como objetivo garantizar una competencia equilibrada y una experiencia positiva y gratificante tanto para los jugadores como para las familias y los equipos.
